We are proud to announce our next aariXa Academy on the 22nd of February 2018 about Advanced Git & DevOps. Distributed Version Control systems and Git in particular have become extremely popular in the developer community. Many tool vendors have adopted Git. Microsoft for example has built new functionality on top of Git to enforce their Application Lifecycle Management story with Visual Studio Team Services (aka TFS in the cloud).
During this session, you will learn how fast you can switch to Git and become productive with Gitflow, a successful Git branching model. Visual Studio Team Services offers a flexible and powerful Pull Request mechanism to protect your branches and inform other team members about new code changes. These code changes may first be scanned and validated in an explicit build process which is tied to the Pull Request system in VSTS. Only after final approval, these code changes can be merged to the target branch in the shared repository.
Come to this session to see why people are so excited about the endless possibilities of Git and the Pull Request mechanism in VSTS.
